Today I have another bookshelf DIY for you. Or maybe more of a DIY magazine shelf. Anyway.. looks great and it’s supereasy to make. You just need a countertop and four picture ledges, and some tools. For instructions click here.

I didn’t post a weekly list last friday. I had one of those days where I sat in front of the computer for a really long time and tried to come up with something good to write, but I just thought: “uuh.. Why should I write a post when I don’t feel like it?” So instead of writing a really bad one, I posted nothing. It’s strange, sometimes you have so much creativity it almost feels like you’re going to burst, and sometimes it’s just empty. Maybe that’s why the story about the Swedish artist Jesper Waldersten in the lastest issue of Plaza Interiör felt so right. He explained so beautifully about the creative process, and the (media) community we live in today. The pictures taken by Björn Terring was amazing too.
/// Det blev ingen veckas lista i fredags. Jag hade en sån dag när jag satt framför datorn och försökte hitta på något bra att skriva men kände bara att: “nä.. blä. Varför ska jag sitta här och pressa ur ett inlägg när jag inte har lust?”. Så istället för att skriva ett riktigt dåligt inlägg så blev det inget alls. Det är så konstigt det där, ibland bubblar det över av idéer och ibland blir det bara tomt. Kanske var det därför artikeln om Jesper Waldersten i senaste numret av Plaza interiör träffade så bra. This apartment for sale via fantastic frank has alot of clever DIY’s. My favorite was the unpainted masonite with holes by the desk and the shelves in the bedroom.

I’ve shown you Line’s home before, and I have made a “instagram favorite”- post about her too. But now she has moved to a new apartment and this image is among the first she shows since they moved in. Looks amazing. I can’t wait until we get to see more photos!

I like to use images from magazines, to use as framed art on my walls at home. To me it’s a great way, because I get bored with the images really fast. My favorite magazine for this kind of diying is undoubtedly Styleby, because I like their images the best. And the lastest issue (#25) was not an exception.
/// Jag gillar att använda bilder från tidningar som jag sedan ramar in och hänger upp på väggen. Känns för mig som ett bra sätt att variera sig på, då jag fort tröttnar, och vill ha något nytt. Min favorittidning att hämta sånna bilder från är helt klart Styleby då jag brukar gilla det de gör och senaste numret (#25) var inget undantag.
