I really like the idea behind Omin Käsin-book by Riikka Kantinkoski and Susanna Vento. To get people to understand how great selfmade things really can look and that you don’t have to pay hundreds of euros to get it. And that it is ok that it don’t look absolutely perfect to be something good. Just look at the pencil holder and the lamp in this picture (diy’s from the book). Great initiative and today´s tip!

Att få människor att förstå hur fina egengjorda saker faktiskt kan se ut, och att du inte behöver spendera tusenlappar för att få dem. Och att det inte behöver se alldeles perfekt ut för att vara något bra. Se bara på pennhållaren och marmorlampan på bilden som är från boken.
